Brittany and John originally reached out to me with a City Hall and next-day family dinner plan for December, and I gotta say: I loved this change of plans. Brooklyn Bridge Park is so special to Brittany and John: It’s where they made their relationship official, and where John proposed, and now where they began the next chapter of their lives together with their beautiful microwedding.
Before the ceremony, we headed around the park (and holy crap, we had the most incredible light this day) and did some wedding day portraits around the Park. Things you can’t miss In this post? I mean, you can’t miss any of it, but make sure you catch the iconic Manhattan Bridge photo, which B&J made even more iconic.
Officiant: Hope Mirlis
From Brittany: Lauren photographed our small elopement style wedding recently and WOW!! Her work is seriously amazing. Our original plans ending up changing because of COVID but Lauren was super helpful throughout the whole process and answered any questions we had. We originally wanted to small in City Hall but when we couldn’t, Lauren also recommended our officiant (Hope Mirlis, who we absolutely LOVED as well!) Lauren was quick to respond to any of our questions and when plans were all over the place due to the current situation. We had our ceremony at Brooklyn Bridge Park and Lauren knew of the most perfect areas and nooks. We received our ceremony pictures back today and we are completely in awe. Her style of photography is just what we wanted. Modern, vintagey, romantic. We are completely OBSESSED. Overall, Lauren is one of the best in the industry. She captured our day perfectly and we couldn’t be more happy with her work.
