Chauntel and Bobby came to me originally wanting to do their engagement session in Central Park. Because of NY on Pause and photographers not being able to work in the City, we had to switch things up and do their session in Jersey City. I swear this must have been meant to be because Chauntel and Bobby met and live in Jersey City! We decided on an early morning session to avoid flocks of people on the sidewalks and in the park. Guys, MORE MORNING SESSIONS. Would ya look at that light!?
We got to hit up some of their favorite locations including Cafe Peanut (this is a BEAUTIFUL little coffee shop just off of Journal Square), Hamilton Park, and the Jersey City mural. We even have a little Rolls cameo thanks to a friend of a friend which was honestly thrilling. I’m so happy we were able to turn their Central Park engagement session into something that included locations that were so meaningful to the two of them, and to be honest this was the Jersey City engagement session of my dreams, too.
