I don’t know about you, but I don’t particularly want to review 2020 as a whole. This year was challenge after challenge, and I’m proud that we’ve all made it. I’m looking forward to what comes next.
That said, even though 2020 was everything we didn’t expect it to be, it taught us so much. It became the year of the elopement. It was the year to embrace small gatherings. To be thankful that our closest are here with us and in good health. Technology gave us the ability to bring us all closer, even though we were far apart. We learned to love a little harder and appreciate the small things a little more.
I’m optimistic for 2021, and welcoming it with open arms. I’m hopeful that we will be able to gather and dance and celebrate as a group again. I look forward to being able to hug my couples again and I can’t wait to get back into the regular groove of weddings and life and celebrating.
I photographed a handful of weddings this year, and below are just some of my favorites. I hope you love them.
