Sara and Matt’s wedding at The River Café in Brooklyn was intimate, personal and full of unique moments that made the day unforgettable. They started their morning at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, getting ready with a small group of close friends.
The ceremony and cocktail hour took place in The River Café’s garden, which is without question one of the most charming and cozy spots in Brooklyn. With lush greenery and behind cobblestone paths, the space feels hidden – gifting views of the Manhattan skyline along the water. It was such a beautiful, romantic backdrop for the entire celebration!
Two moments truly stood out: Sara and Matt surprised everyone with a bachata first dance, which brought so much joy and energy to the room. Later in the evening, in place of the traditional father-daughter dance, Sara played piano while her dad sang Here Comes The Sun –can you get any sweeter!?
The reception felt like an elegant dinner party with their favorite people. Warm, intimate and full of love. Guests enjoyed incredible food, candlelight, and music. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
