Sara and Matt’s wedding at The River Café in Brooklyn was intimate, personal and full of unique moments that made the day unforgettable. They started their morning at 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge, getting ready with a small group of close friends.
The ceremony and cocktail hour took place in The River Café’s garden, one of the most charming spots in Brooklyn. The space feels almost hidden, with lush greenery, cobblestone paths and views of the Manhattan skyline along the water. It created such a beautiful, romantic backdrop for the entire celebration and there wasn’t a dry eye in sight.
Two moments truly stood out: Sara and Matt surprised everyone with a bachata first dance, which brought so much joy and energy to the room. Later in the evening, Sara played piano while her dad sang in place of the traditional father-daughter dance. It was so heartfelt and incredibly special.
The reception felt like an elegant dinner party with their favorite people. Warm, intimate and full of love. Guests enjoyed incredible food, candlelight, and music. It was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
