My FIRST elopement of 2021!! I couldn’t have been more excited to photograph Katarina & Gage’s special day, especially because I was able to sign as their witness (!!!). We only spent about 2 hours together, but let me tell you, Katarina & Gage stole my heart. Their proposal story is the CUTEST; During a quiet picnic in Central Park the two had planned after weeks of not leaving their apartment, Gage gave her a letter talking about the state of the world and how he felt about their relationship. Next thing she knew, he was on one knee!
Fast forward to their wedding day, Katarina did her own hair and makeup AND her dress was secondhand (talk about an eco-friendly queen!). Their ceremony took place on the patio of their suite overlooking the Manhattan skyline at the Wythe Hotel (a personal fav) Both Katarina and Gage agreed that they were just excited to finally be married and acknowledge the gravity of their commitment to each other. CUE THE TEARS. As for their portraits, we were able to catch the sunset and Domino Park and then go back to their suite to get a few photos with the skyline in the background. As you can see in the photos, their love seriously just radiates wherever they go. It was such a privilege to document this day for them!!
